WHAT WE DO PROVIDE…

SUPPORT! We are always available to offer you support when you are working.

JOB OVERVIEW AND VALUABLE TIPS! We will give you lots of information about what your bookings entail and in addition, we will pass over any tips on any aspects of the booking or resort that we know will come in handy for your to know!

ORIENTATION DAY! We hold a pre season induction over 2 days prior to the commencement of the winter season that we expect you to be available for so that you can make yourself familiar with the resort and everything you will need to know prior to carrying our your everyday duties over the season.

FRIENDS!! We will introduce you and help you make friends with other Nannies & Childcarer’s in resort.

REMUNERATION. The question on everyones mind when they are embarking on a winter season is how much will I make? We appreciate the need to know so you can plan your finances in advance but you must appreciate we keep this information for applicants only as we are determined that the role & experience should be the motivator, not the money! Our rates are competitive and are well above minimum wage in this role. They reflect your experience and exclusive commitment to the season and we reward those continuing on as a permanent career nanny season upon season.

The great thing about working with an agency is that we do all the hard work for you!
WHY USE AN AGENT?

We handle all the admin and organising upon booking so all you need to focus on is turning up to start having fun with the children and providing your excellent service!

We have an established clientele and we have been building working relations with our partners since 2014, so you benefit from our years of experience, contacts and web presence  to get you on bookings for your season quickly and efficiently.

How many hours a week, whether part time or full time over the season that you want to work or how much of a winter season you wish to work is decided and agreed upon during the interview stage!

It’s a great way to work independently but have the support of an experienced and empathic agent and a team of like spirited nannies around you.  It is also a great opportunity to earn extra money around your existing commitments or lifestyle over the season/year.

Our families will benefit from your professionalism and experience and so in return, we offer this service to you without any charge. 

The service that we provide them ensures their children are in a safe and fun environment.  They will expect only the very best from you which is all we ask in return, maintaining our high standards and solid reputation.

WHAT WE DO NOT PROVIDE…

ACCOMMODATION – If you are not already established with accommodation, then we can assist with giving you local contacts and some tips if needed. We cannot commit to taking bookings for your until you have accommodation confirmed and you are committed to resort.

LIFT PASS – We do not provide passes and we can not assist you with applying for season passes. Season Passes are available at reduced prices when booked early in advance  and for under 26yr olds if purchased before the start of the season. Check out the local lift company websites in your resort.

SKI/SNOWBOARD HIRE –  Secondhand kit is often sold on Facebook page Morzine buy n’ sell.

INSURANCE – As an independent childcarer, you  should already have public liability insurance. Public liability insurance covers you for your independent work and is generally inexpensive but well worth holding.  If you don’t currently hold any or wish to switch providers, then we can give you lists of recommended insurers.

ART/COOKING MATERIALS/TOYS/EQUIPMENT – We can advise you on what to bring to bookings and you can use your own supply of toys and equipment. We can offer to supplement your toy kits with our toys bags and these can be supplied with a returnable deposit if given back complete. You will need to supply a basic arts and craft kits which are easy and can be inexpensive to make up and we can give you some tips on this or should you wish to purchase one from us, then you can also do this.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE

You must have or apply for a current DBS/Police Check prior to registration.

As we are not an employer,  you must be already be self employed and tax registered.  You must be investigate the legalities of working abroad.

You must have up to date First Aid training prior to the start of your bookings.

Qualifications are preferable but we do consider professional experience providing it is of at least 1 year of experience of 3yrs plus or 2 for babies and infants. You must provide professional references.

We have a partnership with Freckles childcare training company in the UK and this would be taken into consideration of your training/experience should you decide to embark on a course before the season starts. in childcare.

We do consider all experience and backgrounds, ie mums, teachers, nurses etc so application is available to all.
