We pride ourselves on finding independent established Nannies who have a professional attitude, are warm and friendly, experienced, reliable, with a great outlook on life and are dedicated to giving children everywhere a magical holiday experience in the Alps.
After years in the industry we are keen to modernise the way childcare traditionally operates in resorts with more demand these days for bespoke childcare, so we are looking for flexible Nannies willing to go that extra mile. You will constantly be learning on the job as this is a position like no other Nanny role, accumulating new experiences and adding these to your career portfolio. Every day is different and you will meet new and exciting families week in week out.

Requirements of the Role
- You must apply for a current DBS/Police Check prior to registration.
- As we are not an employer, you must already be self-employed and tax registered. You must investigate the red tape of working abroad.
- You must have up to date First Aid training prior to the start of your bookings.
- Qualifications are preferable but we do consider professional experience providing it is of at least 1 year of experience of 3yrs plus or 2 years for babies and infants. You must provide professional references.
We do consider all experience and backgrounds, so application is available to all. Simply make sure that all your experience is on your CV and in your cover letter. Don’t leave anything out and ensure you list the time you have spent working in each position and the ages and numbers of children in your care you have looked after at any one time.
We have a partnership with Freckles childcare training company in the UK and this would be taken into consideration if adding to your training/experience should you decide to embark on a course before the season starts.

What we Do & Don’t Provide?
WHAT WE DO…
SUPPORT & MENTORING
We are always available to offer you support whilst you register with us, prior to the winter as you get all the paperwork all in order and during your season whilst you are working. We will give you all the information about what your bookings that you require and ensure you are ready to go. In addition, we will pass over any tips on any aspects of the booking or resort that we know will come in handy for you to know to ensure your booking runs smoothly. We hold a pre-season orientation over 3 days prior to the commencement of the winter season that we expect you to be available for so that you can make yourself familiar with the resort and everything you will need to know prior to carrying out your everyday duties over the season. It is a great opportunity to meet the team and make new friends.
TOYS
We offer our toys bags for you to rent for the duration of your time with us and these can be supplied with a returnable deposit if given back completely. You can of course supplement your toy bags with any personal favourite toys that you like to work with.
You will need to supply your own arts and craft kits which are easy and can be inexpensive to make up but we can give you some tips on what to include on them or should you wish to purchase one from us, then you can also do this, you just need to let us know.
ORIENTATION DAY
We hold a pre season induction over 3 days prior to the commencement of the winter season that we expect you to be available for so that you can make yourself familiar with the resort and everything you will need to know prior to carrying our your everyday duties over the season.
FRIENDS
By working alongside other nannies, there are plenty of opportunities to make lifelong friends, enjoy company as you work and enjoy social events together over the winter making it a memorable part of your life experience.
REMUNERATION
WHAT WE DO NOT PROVIDE…
ACCOMMODATION
If you are not already established with accommodation, then we can assist with giving you local contacts and some tips if needed. We cannot commit to taking bookings for your until you have accommodation confirmed and you are committed to your season in your chosen resort.
LIFT PASS
We unfortunately can not provide passes and we are unable to assist you with applying for season workers passes. For season workers passes, you will simply need to supply your INSEE “Situation Au Repertoire Sirene ” letter which you receive once you have registered as self employed (AE) and this must have your resort address to qualify for that resort’s lift pass. Other seasonal passes that are available to all at reduced prices when booked early in advance and for under 26 yr olds if purchased before the start of the season. Check out the local lift company websites in your resort.
